    Stone Cold

Movies like Stone Cold are classic examples of the over-the-top cheesy action flicks that made the '80s and '90s awesome.

We're introduced to our hero, played by Brian Bosworth—a former NFL linebacker from before my time—and he's already suspended from the force! He walks into a grocery store that's being robbed by a few guys who are clearly high on something, probably cocaine. If you've ever seen Cobra with Stallone, this scene will feel very familiar; it's basically the same…

I think they may have gone a little too far with Jason in this remake. I don't think him being a Rambo-like survivalist really fits—he's still presumably mentally challenged with a misshapen head. Kill the Referee

Chances are, if you're a sports fan, your favorite team has been screwed over by a referee at some point—or at least perceived the referee ruined the game for your team. Now, European soccer is on another level when it comes to passion for your team—I don't think the plot of this movie would happen to an NBA ref. Jean-Pierre Mocky portrays being a fanatical follower so well it's scary.

The main hooligan, played by Michel Serrault, is your typical…
