The Wind Rises 2013
the absolute pinacle of visual non verbal story telling. Emotions dripped out of every frame, the stylistic choices in the animation makes for incredibly emotionally impactful scenes such as the earthquake and dream sequences. The sound design using actual human voice to vocalize the plains and other distinctive inanimate things make them ooze with life, as if they're breathing and feeling.
