The Motorcycle Diaries 2004
LOVED IT. if you have any interest in che guevara or revolutions please check this out, although the original is in spanish. i’ll never forget when i first watched this in spanish class and my teacher said the main actor was “super guapo”. really señora? “super guapo”? i guess…but anyway. very well acted, there are some easter eggs from real life, and it was just such a cool movie. 9/10.

preminger made this whole movie. i don’t care about the memes i feel a special connection to this villain. when do i get a gay coded evil advisor? it’s not fair. annalise took him for granted even though (SPOILER) he tried to murder her and marry her mom. i think about him a lot and this is always my go-to barbie movie. while the love interest in magic of the pegasus may have a gambling problem, i truly think preminger has more personality than most fictional villains i’ve seen, in and outside of the barbie universe. a classic for the ages indeed.

Over the Hedge 2006
i’m gonna be honest i confused this and over the garden wall for a long time. when my roommate said her favorite tv show/movie was over the garden wall i silently judged her for seemingly obsessing over these metro park animals so much. however, i can’t be too judgmental because i like my fair share of odd movies and shows as well. so yeah, this movie may have bad reviews, but i did confuse it with the masterpiece that is over the garden wall. so i’ll give it 3 stars
