This is such a complex story. In one sense I absolutely love the mise-en-scene, especially the cinematography; however, on the other hand, parts of this movie felt so vulnerable and unethical considering the age difference. I think Oliver should have known better and should not have engaged sexually with Elio; their perceptions of love and relationships were so different. Drive My Car 2021
SUCH A GOOD FILM. I don't think I'll recover. The characters were so well developed and I really enjoyed Misaki's character and the scene of her with the flowers. I'm actually obsessed with everything about it: the cinematography, the acting, the writing. SO GOOD!!
