while fritz the cat is such a bastardized depiction of crumb’s work and in its attempt to make intelligent political commentary on problems such as white privilege and virtue signaling it falls short and instead comes off in a very centrist way where it vicariously acknowledges racial privilege through fritz but also is very critical against any movements that would initiate change. all things considered i still loved this movie. i will give credit where credit is due…
