PARASITE is a twisted, effortlessly tense & absolutely thrilling masterpiece of a film filled with phenomenal performances from everyone involved. Easily a career best by the great Joon-Ho Bong. I could not of been more blown away by this film, it is perfect. The title “parasite” is so incredibly accurate for what the story is going for, it couldn’t be more fitting. I would definitely recommend going in completely blind, as I did. I can guarantee that you will not guess where…

"I do what I do best, I take scores. You do what you do best, try to stop guys like me."

Arguably the greatest crime thriller ever made. Michael Mann's Heat is a masterpiece. A crime saga focusing on two men who despite being on entirely separate sides of the law, are one and the same. Al Pacino and Robert De Niro deliver incredible performances. The action is expertly shot and choreographed, including the greatest shootout scene in film history.…

This just didn’t do it for me unfortunately. It’s not an egregious movie or anything but I just thought it was pretty bland and found myself bored for most of the film. Gal Gadot is genuinely horrible in this, her acting makes me want to eat a poisoned apple. One of the worst performances I’ve seen in the last couple years. Rachel Zegler is beyond innocent and amazing. She was easily the highlight of the film, I could listen to her sing…

This wasn’t that devastating, I only cried 7 times :’)

Truly one of the most stirring love stories I have ever seen. I connected with both of the lead characters in such a deep way. This was emotionally overwhelming in both the happy moments and painful moments. It’s an absolutely stunning piece of storytelling. The cinematography is also a standout, this mini series is shot in such a beautiful way. Daisy Edgar-Jones and Paul Mescal are PHENOMENAL. Their chemistry, their intimacy, everything felt so real.

I really can’t recommend this enough!

HIGH LIFE is a random, dull, bizarre film about... I don’t even know? Sometimes watching a movie feels like a chore and that exactly how I felt. I could not have been more uninterested. A lot of people I follow on here love this film and I have no idea why but this film just wasn’t for me
