An incredibly silly movie made by some incredibly smart people. South Park will always hold its status in the upper echelon of adult humor and satire, and this movie cemented it. I still remember when it initially was released and the whole world was in uproar about it, but then again that was a weekly occurrence with each new television episode that aired.

This was such a scary movie from my childhood, I’ve always hated clowns so, yeah. Of course I had to get it on tape when I saw it. Tim Curry crushes his performance as Pennywise. I think this version is still superior to the remakes though I haven’t seen part two. It had been so long since I had seen this I had forgotten how everything ends with them defeating is final form, some giant spider like creature.

Another cult classic I finally found on tape and was really excited to watch. It blew me away! I’m a fan of Pierce Brosnan but this movie elevated him for me, he did a great job. What a concept for a sci-fi film. I think I watched it three times over and then told everyone at work to go home and watch it. Loved it.

I got this movie on tape when I came across it because my friend Victor would talk about getting a tattoo of Felix, and I could never really relate because I never had seen the show or comics. It’s a fun movie, but doesn’t really hold one’s attention very well.
