My personal favorite horror film for the purpose of how realistic it is. I say that with it being a classic home break in, torture, and killing. Seeing a horror film that could really happen to anyone is what gives it the extra spook. The film starts depressing and all the way through and including the ending never is happy. How horror films should be I want to leave being felt unsettled and giving horror films happy endings doesn’t do it for me.
