Fearless Hyena 2 1983
Truly an earlier exemple of a scam movie. Jackie Chan is barely in it. This movie makes no sense! Some watchable fight scenes but the whole experience is painful to sit through. Interesting to know the backstory that Jackie Chan left the production at mid point to go with Golden Harvest (best career move ever). Lo Wei decided to release this piece of shit of a movie anyway. He used stock footage, doubles and another actor to do Chan scenes. It is so jarring to watch. Felt longer than 90 mins. Kind of insane that Criterion remastered it for the Jackie Chan boxset! Atrocious!

This shit was released in theaters?! Formulaic and bland story. Awful execution in terms of directing and fight scenes. The movie is so flat to watch. Ariana Debose is super annoying. Tries so hard to be funny and cute but it's just kind of cringe. The script feels like a first draft written by 13 years olds... Don't waste your time, just watch the trailer. It pisses me off that movies like The Shadow Strays and Scott Adkins flicks are dumped on streaming services...They should be playing in theaters instead of this crappy and lame martial arts film...

Jonathan Rhys-Meyers looks like a dude who will do anything to pay his drugs and booze. What a sad downfall. Lame overcooked no budget Die Hard rip-off. The main actress is kinda cute and have the chops to do action but the action scenes are cut short with headshots...more fighting please! The situation doesnt need to happen and would be solved in 5 mins. The script is so stupid and non-sensical at parts. Jon Voigt stills has it as an actor. The patriot salute on the roof was so out of place. Terrible film.

My favorite movie of all-time! Best vampire movie ever. I like the tonal shift in the middle of the movie. The casting is bad-ass, the gore is insane, Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez are gods for me.
