Eephus 2024
It perfectly utilizes the medium of film to capture and extend time. The entire film takes place in a single setting, focusing on a group portrait from start to finish. The game lasts from morning to night, portraying the connections between people, between people and sports, and between people and place—deeply moving. The whole film, the entire match, and the entire day form one continuous “Eephus.” The ball will land, the game will end, and people will leave.

Mysterious. I like films like this which I have to think and decipher the clues the director leaves. There is an interaction in it. Super fun to watch. The beginning is kind of a typical genre film, but it gets more and more interesting while it proceeds. I also love the girl's choice at the end; it's dark but very reasonable and surprising. I love these unconventional parts.

Not as good as Titane. The expression is not as deep. Though it seems to be an A-movie, it applies a lot of B-movie approaches, and it's both a strength and a weakness. It also somehow matches the film's essence. At the very start of the film, the basis of the film is set----ugly men suppress and exploit women. With the progression of the film, it transits to the entire entertainment industry's suppression and exploitation. If we look through the…
