When I saw the poster for A Real Pain (not the one featured here), I thought Kieran Culkin would be portraying an annoying relative of Jesse Eisenberg’s. After seeing the film, I conclude they are both cousins (Culkin’s Benji and Eisenberg’s David). At one point David admits he always thought Benji was just the absolute coolest. This makes him cry. Then Benji shares a blunt with him, gives him a lotta nuggies (sp?), excessively leans on the word FUCK as an adjective around him, shames a tour guide in front of him, and cries over Polish Jewish sadness. Near him. It had some laughs.
