After a rough start... I started buying what Leo and Marty were selling.
It's a gorgeously shot movie. Felt immersive and interesting.
Upsetting and intriguing throughout. Twisty at end in ways I didn't mind and felt were earned.

Pure weird Japanese noir madness. An experimental plot, combined with it famously being edited in like one day cuz the studio didn't like the movie and you get an uneven story. That said, has some of the most creative and wild filmmaking of the era. Will our hero survive and become the number one killer?
