  Acting and dialogue so stiff and joyless, I wouldn’t be surprised to find out they did each scene in one take. Worst rom-com I’ve ever seen.

  First half is genuinely intriguing. The best and scariest moments are when they’re being watched. The second half is soo flat and boring that I can’t even bring myself to give it 2 stars. Disappointing. And yet it’s still a better movie than the last thing her Dad put out (Trap)

  It feels wildly unprofessional that Jonah Hill and his psychiatrist say “I love you” so much to each other during this film? 

  I’m torn on this one, because Dr. Stutz methods and ideas are interesting, especially the way he diagrams everything on note cards, but Jonah Hill simply can’t get the fuck out of his own way, and loses me when this film switches directions and goes fully meta.
