I was so stoked to see this after loving ‘Get Out.’ I was sorely disappointed. It started off exciting and had me super curious and invested. But then it got boring and stopped making sense. I really wish there was a big discovery moment like ‘Get Out.’ I still don’t understand the story.
Another timeless Pixar film in my opinion. Though not as good as the original Monsters Inc, this prequel was a fun addition to the story. It was fun to see how the team made it to Monsters Inc. I loved all the ties between the two movies. It was interesting they made the second movie a prequel after the big tease at the end of the first movie. They left the door wide open for a sequel but it sounds…
I know there has to bad movies in order to have good movies but this one shocked me. There was no plot, no character development, no real hurdle or victory. There were multiple plot point opportunities but they were never explored. I can’t believe this movie had a big enough budget for Will Ferrell.
