  This is a well crafted, beautifully shot and acted movie. It is also deeply sad in a way that I wasn't expecting. I don't think I can watch it again but I'm glad I saw it.

  Parts of this movie were objectively wonderful and so clever. The scene with the backup dancers was extremely cool (you know the one). The lead actress did a great job and was believable in her role. But... for someone who gets terrible secondhand embarrassment, some scenes were almost unwatchable. It significantly took down my enjoyment. Was it the intention of the director? Yes. Do I hope to see more movies in this series? Also yes. But I squirmed my way to the finish line on this one.

  I will never watch this movie again. I know it's a part of the film zeitgeist or whatever, but I feel like a worse person for having watched it. It takes a lot to really get to me, but every time I thought it couldn't go farther, it did. Jesus christ.
