VHS85 truly represents the full potential of the franchise. Every time I watch it, it gets better. It definitely has its weaker points (TKNOGD, the ending of God of Death) but, unlike previous VHS movies, even the weakest segment isn't bad. I find new things to love on every watch.

Heart Eyes 2025
Good killer, great kills, and some really funny zingers. It's not elevated horror, but if you're in the mood to watch a silly, campy slasher, then I recommend checking this one out.

Okay I'll admit that I actually didn't hate the original Babysitter, but this was.... agonizing to get through.
This could have seriously benefitted from any kind of variation in the dialogue. Not every character has to be funny and ready to drop references!
I dig that Cole is dressed like Matt Smith's Dr. Who, and I found some of the use of color in the set design in the first part to be pretty charming. I love jewel tone kitchens.
