Stalker 1979
Excellent use of space, visually and conceptually. The balance between static and dynamic shots help to emphasize the surreal elements of this film. The message is rather obfuscated, almost self contradictory, but nevertheless plays to a sense of hopefull desperation inherent in the human experience that makes it hard to look away.
