This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
A harrowing experience. Very glad to have watched Twin Peaks in the order of release (Seasons 1 & 2, followed by this film) because that transition in the beginning from cooper to the town of Twink Peaks was a nice treat. This movie was very unnerving and tragic that evokes the same sense as when I first watched Hereditary. It’s horrifying in its own surreal nature and very real themes of overlooking sexual abuse/creating this perfect victim that much of the show…

If ever there was a movie to remind me of my friend Gerry. No but seriously, that bird-eye view scene where they’re all dancing before the madness is something wonderful. Couldn’t look away from the good vibes to the downright distraughtful. This movie asks: what would people succumbed by an enchanting psychedelic madness (who are French) display?

Absolute gift to watch on Yuletide. Star-studded cast where non fell short; REALLY glad to see Lilly-Rose Depp in something good with such a strong performance after something like The Idol (ew). Shoutouts to the 5,000 trained rats in this movie too.
