masterpiece. multiple images from this documentary pop into my mind every few years and i find myself compelled to revisit, always moved beyond verbal explicability at scale of this project, and how successfully it presents itself solely through showing, never stating. i can think of few films that communicate so evocatively and tenderly that utilize zero dialogue, and i love the choice to omit any details of location/country/etc. beautiful, miracle, devastating and larger than all we see as large.
