After watching it again, I see that the end of this film really sets up the foundation of the religion and science aspects of Ape society that we see in the 1968 film. Noa is clearly enamored with space, and this telescope represents science, the unknown. I wonder if this trilogy will see Noa develop into a scientist, maybe even see him become the first Minister of Science? Unsure how the faith will tie into things,…

This movie was smart making the opening scene one containing rage-filled chimpanzees killing people. Quite literally my worst nightmare. Very effective. Church scene was terrifying too.
