  The more I watch Kurosawa the more I fall in love with his filmmaking, I think it’s so intriguing to see how much inspiration the modern movie makers of today get from him.

  Also if you think this movie is about rich bad poor good, you have such a surface-level interpretation of this story.

  I CANNOT wait to see how Spike Lee does his take on this story, I think if anyone has the ability to do it justice it is absolutely him.

  People have been saying a LOT about this movie but in one of the interviews i saw someone said this, “People on the right hated it because it showed how much of a monster he is, and people on the left hated it for humanizing him” THAT is how you know it’s done well. Seriously, this was amazing, biopics are my favorite genre so i’m a bit bias but it really was phenomenal.

  Felt like A24 hit me with the iron claw.

  This is genuinely the most brutal, devastating, and straight up sad movie released this year. It’s also the 50th movie I’ve seen that released in 2023.

  I think this is Zac Efron’s BEST performance ever.
