This name as a book remains to be one of my favorite novels of all time. The book blew me away, but this film took the breath out of my lungs. The way it portrays the camaraderie between the characters in the meadows and the trenches and the connection between these young men. If you’ve read the book you will not be disappointed, but I like the addition of the Armstice. Though it throws off the timeline to the book…
