The Shawshank Redemption 1994
There’s a certain feeling you get after watching a movie that you just know is a game changer for the film industry. I felt it after watching this. Not much else to say except the fact that this didn’t win anything in the Oscars blows my mind. Then again, it went against Forrest Gump, but honestly I think it could’ve been either one that year 🤷🏻♂️ also morgan freeman is a gem of an actor.

The Secret Life of Walter Mitty 2013
I feel I relate to this movie more than most. Thinking you’re going to do something big or be somebody important, only to realize you’re caught up in your own daydream. You have to wake up and chase your daydreams. I love this movie. Love the acting. I love how vastly simple the plot is through the exaggerated adventures Walter goes on. And my LORD the transitions and cinematography. Absolutely beautiful.

A very intriguing watch. I felt the moral complexity of what does it mean to be human compared to what it means to always live as if an object was really interesting.
