overall a fun watch! some issues i had: there was something about the pacing i found a little jarring at times, especially towards the beginning. broadway and musicals are not really my thing, which is huge aspect of this movie, but i was still able to enjoy most of it despite that. some of the dialogue is pretty cringe and corny, especially once you hear them delivered (no offence to the actors).
i found it a hard sell to like…

The Feeling That the Time for Doing Something Has Passed 2023
a series of vignettes of a women’s sex life, work life and familial life edited together into an hour and half movie. each scene felt disconnected from the next; i didn’t feel like i could connect with this character at all or understand her in any way. kind of felt like it was trying to do a frances ha slice-of-life type thing but unfortunately does not succeed. quite a dull, miserable watch for me, but would probably work for someone who can appreciate such dry humour you could easily miss it.
