left me juuuust a little underwhelmed cause i kinda had high expectations hoping it to become my new favourite lesbian movie but it didn't 🖤 but i still enjoyed it a lot !!!!!.... the music and cinematography were great, and the finale made me genuinely laugh with joy because it went into campy surreal direction and it was delightful :)
ps: honestly i could just watch 1 hour 44 minutes of katy o'brian straight up flexing her muscles and i would be fully satisfied
campy and unserious, i wish it was structured better and the main romance was more fleshed out 🥲 still had fun watching it though. not sure if the trans representation was intentional but it warmed my heart fr. also never thought i’d say it but cole sprouse was a cutie in this movie and he kinda gave me gender envy lmao
i was captivated from the very first minutes! genuinely one of the most incredible visual storytelling ive seen. the animation, the artstyle, the songs, the emotional impact ...holy shit guys.
