Amazing movie! 9/10
First the fact that the movie was made in 2013 is absurd. It shows an utopian/dystopian future where AI becomes more and more prevalent but not in a Terminator way. Instead it approaches artificial intelligence in a way that’s becoming increasingly more realistic as the years pass with advances like ChatGPT, Deepfakes and so on..
Secondly, loved the way it subtly shows how Humans want to be loved and have someone care about them and their interests.
Also interesting, is that by showing this, it also highlights the fact that physical contact and interaction is necessary to keep that feeling from fading.
