Funnyish and the gore was good. I felt like a ton of the lesbo shit was just to check off the gay box. Tbh adding queer depth to the story is better than queer shallowness I think but I liked all the blood

As someone who grew up escaping into tv shows and books, this movie hit me really hard. Reminded me a lot of Donnie Darko, in terms of the psychosis and unreliable narrators and alternate realities. A slow creeping terror, this movie made me feel like i was a child — confused and scared of the dark again, helpless. i’m a big horror fan, i primarily consume horror content in all mediums, this is the scariest thing i have ever watched. the special incongruency reminded me of House of Leaves, another terrifying story. but this movie stands on its own. worth the watch and patience
