  Even for Wes Anderson’s usual artistic flow, this movie was incredibly unique. The idea to make this first as a Japanese movie and then as English was awesome to me and probably one of my favorite techniques used by Anderson in any of his movies. The story itself wasn’t anything crazy but it certainly was entertaining and the acting and production was incredible as well. I wish this rated out of 10 instead of 5. I’d likely give 8 or so out of 10.

  This movie was a clusterfuck but a very artistic clusterfuck with a  lot of underlying ideas. Some loose ends were not tied at the end which only half pissed me off and the other half thought it ended how it should’ve.

  A good method I often use when deciding if a movie was good/how good it was is if it can genuinely depress me, like ruin my day. This movie depressed the shit out of me and also brought me back up so I had to say it’s pretty good. Also some very funny parts.
