  Obviously very beautiful, (even a little too much maybe), beautiful shots of Naples, beautiful staging and sets, beautiful shots of bodies, beauty and desire. Without spoilers, I liked the very surprising surreal touch. I like it when films destabilize us. I also really liked the young trio at the beginning of the film which was very touching.
  But ultimately that's about it. The pace is poorly managed, it's a bit long. I have trouble knowing what the director wanted to…

  Il faut cligner des yeux : la beauté du monde nous l’impose.

  Au début d’un film de Carax on est toujours un peu perturbé, c’est bizarre et on se demande où il veut nous emmener et si il va y arriver. Et à la fin, c’est fou, on veut danser et refaire le monde avec lui, en clignant des yeux.
