Ramblings:
Struggled a lot coming back to this one. Both because it’s a Woody Allen film and because I used to love it so. Having written an essay on it too, it was a strange viewing experience. The stuff in the present is rather mundane, but back in the 20s it really is delightful. It also does struggle with its themes of nostalgia and the city.
