Prisoners 2013
Prisoners does an incredible job at filming the perspectives of each character. Every character in their own way is stuck in their own “prison” inside their mind. Whether they put themselves in their own prison through being angry about not being able to find their daughter, pressure on oneself about having a perfect case record and being stumped, or the sadness and grief that becomes incapacitating to their life, each character is a “prisoner” in their own life.

Hostiles 2017
Film was an incredible take on western style. Tells the story of the progression of two enemies and how prejudice based off of true trauma and hurt impacts one’s ability to connect and forgive. This film has incredible cinematography and an impactful score.
Some might complain on the films pace that it may be too slow, but I think it helps emphasize the length and tough progression of the characters’ journey through the American West.Translated from by
