  Heartbreaking life for Young Mawka (Phoenix Wilson). But uhh wtf! Old Mawka (or Michael - Michael Greyeyes) is so awkward. Wide screen shots seem quite distorted. Enjoyed the acting, particularly by Chaske Spencer (Ted-o). Did not enjoy the ending one bit

  The Gorge 2025

  Looks great like everything Apple. Miles Teller (Levi) and Anya Taylor-Joy (Drasa) were fun. Wish Teller did more movies. Lost the plot for me once they went in the Gorge. Decent albeit straightforward ending.

  I’m not sure what this movie is missing to make it higher rated for me. I thought Downey Jr and Foxx were both good and the plot was solid, but there’s something about it that makes it only average. Overall a great idea for a movie though and can’t even imagine having to struggle with schizophrenia.

  Dune: Part Two 2024

  I actually liked Dune Part 1 more. Surprised, given the unreal ratings for Part 2. I think it was because Dune Part 1 was my first introduction into the world. Dune Part 2 was great, but it did drag a bit in the middle. The last 25 mins were freaking awesome. Sound and cinematography was incredible. The dialogue was corny at times, but Stilgar (Javier Bardem) had some good one liners. The Reverend Mother (Rebecca Ferguson) continued to piss me off. Timothee Chalamet (Paul Atreides) was good, but I struggle to see why people think he is a phenomenal actor. Austin Butler (Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen) crushes it.
