Mickey 17 delivers a message and warning to society that has been delivered many times before but adds a new layer of comedy to it that saves it from being stale. Packed with Bong Joon-Ho’s usual societal commentary but without any of the usual nuance and rather just hammered into the audience with marvel level writing at times, especially in the final act.
