Holding on to ones belief is righteous but apostatizing to spare the torment of others is the most commendable. However ones heart must stay true to God and survive all forms of torment to be saved.
Nosferatu was closer to Bram Stokers storyline than this. However a good adaptation and well made for a low budget. Christopher Lee is perfect as the Count.
