I had originally declared that the movie wasn’t worth the time to write anything substantial about but that was before the computer started automatic windows updates.

Honestly I had thought that the campy tropes that plagued movies decades ago had been done with or at least paved over with new, slightly less insipid cliches. However Ready Player One defied my already low expectations with its adaption of a neckbeard’s personal online fantasy.

I feel by giving time and a medium to review such a bland movie like this is probably peculiar as I've never bothered to give a movie review before nor are film critiques really "my thing." But it gives me pleasure to know I may annoy my friends (Phil) that are passionate about film by not only seeing this film but also by using the same medium as them to give time and space to the film.
