“lacey go get some water” craziest twist of all time
what a beautiful, hard to watch movie!!! your mother is an unknowable planet that you’ll never reach but you know her like you know yourself. such small details in this evoke so much, like a dangly earring under the kitchen table or only being able to see the top half of your head in the mirror. i’ve forgotten so many small things from being a child and i loved how slow and rich and intentional janet planet all felt. maybe my fave of the year!
