  I did not care for Megalopolis. Everyone always says that it’s like the perfect movie, but I did not care for it. Coppola’s film commits the ultimate sin: it insists upon itself. Sure, the movie makes a valid point, but it takes forever to get to it. You know, I can’t get through, I’ve never even finished the movie. I’ve never seen the ending. I get to the scene where Adam Driver quotes Shakespeare, and I have no idea what he’s talking about. It’s like he’s speaking a different language. That’s why I lose interest.
