This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Thought this movie was SO good. Andrew Scott was absolutely incredible, as he always is. Paul was brilliant as well. It was heartwarming and devastating in equal measures, and made me smile at times and cry at others. The ending absolutely devastated me and I DID NOT see it coming. I so badly wanted them to end up happy together and for Adam to finally find peace. Heartbroken.
The acting was good, and if its goal was to be completely bizarre, then it succeeded. But why is no one else really uncomfortable about the fact that this highly sexualised "woman" is actually a toddler, mentally???? Weird as fuck.
The only twist in this movie is that Barry Keoghan is actually packing much more than I expected. The only good thing about it is that Jacob Elordi is a feast for the eyes. Otherwise, tried so hard to be shocking but came across as if it was written by a 14 year old from peak-tumblr times.
