  I was surprised to find out Hopkins was only on screen for 16 minutes, his presence was felt throughout the entire movie. One of the best performances ever imo. He doesn’t carry the movie though, Jodie Foster was also great and it’s one of the most tense movies I’ve watched. I see why it won 5 Oscars and is so critically acclaimed.
