  I was so excited for this movie but sadly it was a big old womp womp. Never thought I’d find a ridley scott film about the french revolution and Napoleonic wars so boring. I guess I’ll just go rewatch Gladiator again.

  I somehow agree with every bad review and every good review at the same time. Thoroughly enjoyed this and found myself on the edge of my seat trying to figure out what was going on, occasionally questioning whether it would even be revealed. 

  I was somewhere smack between amused and irritated at the ending and here I remain. Sort of wish it was a show because I want more but *sigh* I guess I’ll just to be happy with what I’ve got.

  Really loved this but also had a bit of a hard time stomaching it, although I believe that is very much the point. A beautifully acted, shot, and executed idea that provides a jarring metaphor for whatever it is that pushes people out the the circle of acceptance in society.

Following
