you know, "femininst" comedy horrors have really had a hit in the past 5 years, from the frankly incredible piece of art that was 'the substance' and more simplistic stories á la pearl. watching this film through for the second time you can see foreshadowing. like there are a few points where a shot of fire is immediately replaced by pearl's mother, and the original goose killing was a dark and humorous start.
