  The filmmakers really went out of their way to make Harvey Kinkle look like a dork in this movie.

  A really interesting premise in 2004 predating Free Guy and Ready Player One. But far too ambitious for a scrappy low budget indie production.

  It’s what you’d expect: riddled with bad dialogue, bad acting, bad sound mixing, bad VFX, wild editing choices, and laughable hair and makeup. Hardly any costume design.

  The most I can give it is that some of the scouted locations look nice like the green elevator.

  The NeverEnding Story III 1994

  The Nasties look to be in their mid-20s and yet they want to continue high school? They clearly must be into Dungeons & Dragons cuz they are really into the lore of Fantasia.

  Watching this on Blu-ray will probably make this more digestible than watching it on a poorly compressed YouTube video rip, VHS tape, or old DVD master. They did a good job with the Blu-ray remaster.

  This movie gets unfairly maligned, and I’m here to bring down this reign of tyranny, and turn the tide of retrospective opinion.

  I understand for most it’s a cardinal sin to let this iconic duo talk, but I won’t sit idly by and pretend it’s some gut wrenching travesty of a character assassination (ala Last Jedi).
