  I finally got around to watching this and, upon this first viewing, I loved it!

  As of now really my one critique is that I would have made the character of Margot/Erin a Black trans woman -- someone society really sees as disposable, who in the eyes of the uber rich can  only exist in service to others, to really drive the point of the movie home.   Overall, I found this to be a pretty solid film. Well shot, for one; it was a pleasure to look at in every frame, and the night scenes in particular were very well lit. I enjoyed the performances and score as well. 

  The reason I can't give this a full three stars is because of the ending. The entity is so clearly a metaphor for trauma and the ways it can manifest as mental illness for people later in life, so for the ending to be what it is... It cheapens the depth of the rest of the movie, unfortunately.
