“And you are a disgusting hooker.”
“And your son hates you so much, he married one to piss you off. Yeah, your family is fucking trash.”
CLOCK IT ANI!!!
quite ambiguous ending but i loved the idea that it's like i'm also with them because I feel like Paul is supposed to be us, the viewers, since were only seeing things from Paul's side. Although a part of me says that the way the story was stitched was kinda underdeveloped, i still think it's a nice first feature length film for the director. it's filled with dualities such as life and death, past and present, fiction and reality. the way the film ended is ambivalent yet also confusing to me atleast. Nevertheless, it's still a good film!
story flow and script = corny and cringe. i feel like samantha lee wants to talk about a lot of stuff while still appealing to the desired target audience but ngl, this film is still bland and lacking substance idk. 2 stars for the cuteness and filipino wlw representation.
