Gunpowder Milkshake 2021
This is a movie where a found family of hot badass queer women murder every man who shows up on screen, and I’m here for it. A series of visually and conceptually fun set pieces, in a world with an almost fairy tale quality (lots of Capital Letters — The Library, The Diner, etc.) that benefits from not over-explaining things. Flimsy narrative, but characters are charming enough that I didn’t mind. Very fun.
