Even though it raised the stakes from the last film in both scope and scale, it felt lost. Tried so hard to have more of a story, that it did not allow for the plot and the back story to make much of a sense at all.

Worst of it all is that, unlike its precedent, none of its kills were particularly memorable. Still a fun watch and felt better produced than the last one.

Peele crafts another technically perfect, gorgeous-looking film that seeks to understand several aspects of the human psyche. As per usual by Peele standards, this horror flick is highly stylyzed but grounded, and features star-making performances from Keke Palmer and Brandon Perea. Daniel Kaluuya is also really great in a commanding role, while Steven Yeun leaves a lasting impression in just a few minutes of screentime.

In my opinion, it is the lesser of Jordan’s three films, yet is also excellent (Get Out and Us are both among my all-time faves). Watch it in the biggest screen possible.
