An absolute epic. Nolan did a great job of ensuring Oppenheimer remains a complex, enigmatic historical figure. The moral dilemma stays at the heart of it even more so than Oppy and that’s what makes it so compelling. I love that the question of the bomb’s morality is answered only by the horrors that confront Oppenheimer when he actually stops to contemplate its consequences on the world above the atomic level.
