  this movie did a lot, one could say it had something for everyone. 

  one thought abt it: it was interesting how allan and weird barbie were queercoded and were outcasts (often correlated). however they were heroes at the end instead of villains (unusual). thinking about what it means for these characters to be outcasts, do we want them to be part of normie barbieworld or is this the point? what message does it send to young queer people?
