  not quite what i had imagined but beautifully done. i did keep feeling like it’s such a white man movie - there’re just so many alternative options to communicate differences etc. but the on the noseness did make it particularly poignant, and the brute forces almost felt fresh.

  i liked how it let us peek into an ultra heartless life through a narrative that emphasizes on its banality and normalcy. it’s chilling to think that this life could’ve been any upper middle class’s. the jarring juxtaposition that the hoss family swims in between is made extra poignant with characters such as the grandma, when they exude the scare disturbance.
