The special effects were bruuuutal dude. I didn’t expect the plot when going into it. I’ve only watched the most recent hellraiser, so I wasn’t expecting julia to be a goddamn menace lmao. She really did Larry dirty dude. I guess like she said, she didn’t really love him at all. I feel like to an extent she was possessed tho? I don’t know.
I need to deep dive on the hellraiser movies the lore seems really interesting; might be a new favorite in the books.

The writing in this movies pretty superb. The dynamic and balance of David’s intense anxiety and Benjis aloofness really makes this movie. I also thought the interjection of comedy at certain parts was executed pretty well.
Bruh my boy Brundle really put the gun to his head like that. Craaaazy.
Jeff goldblum was his usual charming self, but seeing him slowly descend into fly madness was wicked dude. Geena Davis also did a great job really driving home that body horror concept of being potentially pregnant with a fly mutant, that part kinda fucked me up.
